Esta obra defiende dos ideas principales: que lo mejor del catolicismo no est\u00e1 en el pasado, sino que podr\u00eda estar en el futuro, y que, si cabe hablar de edad de oro del cristianismo, est\u00e1 delante nuestro y no detr\u00e1s. Lo que demanda otra Iglesia: sinodal, superando el clericalismo, liber\u00e1ndose de la era de la cristiandad y, al fin, habilitando totalmente a la mujer en su seno.
