El 3 de noviembre de 1883, un joven arquitecto llamado Antoni Gaud\u00ed se hac\u00eda cargo de las obras, apenas iniciadas, del templo de la Sagrada Familia. Se han cumplido 130 a\u00f1os de aquella fecha. Estas p\u00e1ginas ofrecen una visi\u00f3n renovada de la bas\u00edlica de la Sagrada F amilia de Barcelona y de Antoni Gaud\u00ed, el arquitecto innovador que dise\u00f1\u00f3 esta catedral del siglo XXI -todav\u00eda inacabada- que suscit a admiraci\u00f3n en todo el mundo. El 2004 va ser nomenat Arquebisbe Metropolit\u00e0 de Barcelona. El 2007 el papa Benet XVI el va nomenar cardenal. El 2013 va participar al Conclave que va escollir el cardenal Jorge Mario Bergoglio com a Papa.
